This 4400mm kraft paper machine features a wire width of 5000 mm, a net paper width of 4400 mm, and a reel width of 4460 mm, providing ample process margin for the uniform formation of the full-width paper sheet. All rotating components of the 4400mm kraft paper machine have undergone precision dynamic balancing—with a dynamic balancing speed of 550 m/min (and 1500 m/min for the reel drum)—ensuring a sufficient safety margin for the designed operating speed of 450 m/min.
This 4400mm kraft paper machine enables a smooth transition from crawl speed to operating speed, with minimal tension fluctuations between machine sections. This effectively mitigates the risk of paper breaks, ensuring stable and efficient continuous production. The 4400mm kraft paper machine utilizes a “one-and-a-half-layer” configuration; this design provides ample space for operation and maintenance while requiring less building height than a double-layer layout, and offering a more optimized machine length and footprint compared to a single-layer layout. Consequently, it is highly adaptable for both facility retrofit projects with space constraints and the planning of new production lines.
