Coarse and fine screen applications have different roles in paper production lines. Coarse screen and fine screen are both screening equipment used in paper production line, but their configurations are very different. The coarse screen is used in the coarse screening stage, and generally uses a screen basket with a hole screen and is equipped with a heavy slag port. The fine screen is used in the fine screening stage, using a smaller slotted screen without a heavy slag port.
