Dry Cylinder is a cylinder with caps at both ends cast by cast iron. It mainly consists of cylinder, end cap, steam head, intake pipe and drainage siphon. Now, because of the increase of heating steam pressure, when the steam pressure exceeds 0.49 Mpa , steel dryer is often used. Ordinary dryers are single-layer, steel dryers still have a sandwich dryer. After the dryer is cast, the inner surface is machined and the outer surface is polished to a mirror. Generally, there are several kinds of dryer diameters. Our country’s three chemical series stipulate that there are four kinds of dryer diameters: 0.8m, 1.0m, 1.25m and 1.5m.
Because the dryer has to bear certain steam tension, the shaft of the Dry Cylinder is hollow, and there are steam pipes and condensate discharge pipes inside the drive shaft. The intake pipe extends into the Cylinder and is 0.8-1.0m away from the Cylinder head. There are holes drilled around and at the top to uniformly distribute steam to heat the Dry Cylinder.
