Comparison between M.C. Pressure Screen and Inflow Pressure Screen
The Middle Consistency Pressure Screen is a device for continuously fine and coarse screening of the slurry with pressure in a completely closed state under quite high consistency(2.5-4%). It is suitable for heat screening of wood pulp or straw pulp; coarse and fine screening of chemical pulp and waste paper pulp; selection of thermo-mechanical pulp. The Middle Consistency Pressure Screen is mainly used to remove the light impurities in the slurry in the middle part of pulping system, so as to achieve clean and qualified slurry.
The Inflow Pressure Screen is used to scatter and re-screen the slurry before the headbox in the net section of the paper machine. Inflow Pressure Screen is suitable for fine screening of wood pulp, all kinds of straw pulp and waste paper pulp, and has the characteristics of high screening quality, large capacity and low slurry pulse. The slurry passing through the Inflow Pressure Screen becomes very uniform. The scattered slurry can have better uniformity and two-sided performance when it flows into the paper machine, thereby obtaining a better paper forming index.
